I have so much to add... unfortunately I have recently upgraded to iWeb ’09 and my current template appears to have some compatibility issues, so not only were there some weird formatting changes but my gallery page appears to have stopped working. I will endeavour to resolve this tout de suite! In the meantime all the format and layout discrepancies should now be fixed (or maybe not... a few more have surfaced)
2nd May 2009 - Magically all fixed !!! Just had to reinstall the template :-)
The highlight of the trip was the beautiful ducklings lazing around the lake. One family was particularly large and I found them all huddled in a big heap taking a rest, we also spent an afternoon in the unusual and captivating “Bruno’s Sculpture Garden”.
UPDATE: Since my visit, the pretty town of Marysville was almost completely destroyed by the Black Saturday bush fires that hit Victoria on February 7th 2009. My thoughts go out to all those affected.
For progress reports on the rebuilding of Bruno’s Sculpture Garden which was particularly featured in my photographs visit his website.
Marysville Album

I stood and watched some kids “tagging” although I didn’t realise it at the time - the air was full of spray can paint aroma! If I understood properly, tagging is the dreadful and destructive spraying of names and words etc... as opposed to the great images, that yes I would call art!!
Then I headed over to the bookshop at Federation Square for a coffee and found a whole section on street art... it was an eye opening day and I hope to do go in search of more graffiti art in the future.
Graffiti-itus Album
A bus tour with boat trip included, the best way to see as much as possible in two days! and that on top of all the walking, we needed a holiday when we got back :-) We covered the city from downtown to up - the highlight? where do I start? The atmosphere and crowds of Times Square and 42nd Street by night, Central Park, Strawberry Fields, Liberty, the amazing Jeff Koons art installation on the roof of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, shopping on Fifth including of course the obligatory stop off at the NY Apple Store... New York, New York Album
